It is with great reverence that we announce the forthcoming Katina Ceremony at the Atlanta Mahamevnawa Buddhist Meditation Monastery for the year 2023, scheduled to take place on the eleventh day of November.

The Katina Ceremony is a traditional Buddhist event that celebrates the offering of robes to the monastic community. This act of generosity is considered highly meritorious and is an important part of the Buddhist practice. It is an occasion for devotees to come together and show their support for the Sangha.

We extend a cordial invitation to all to partake in this sacred gathering and engage in acts of great merit. To assist us in making necessary arrangements, we kindly request your RSVP.
