Dear Dhamma friends,
With joy, we gently remind you that the sacred Vesak Celebration 2026 at Atlanta Buddhist Meditation Center will be held on Saturday, May 30th.
As you may know, Vesak is one of the most significant days in Buddhism, honoring the Birth, Enlightenment, and Parinirvana (passing) of the Supreme Buddha.

For our English-speaking Dhamma friends, we warmly encourage you to join from 7:00 p.m. Please bring any Puja items such as flowers, candles, incense, etc. to offer and celebrate our great teacher’s marvelous achievement.
There will be a Food Stall, where you can enjoy Sri Lankan cuisine and friendly fellowship with the Sri Lankan Buddhist community.
The evening will conclude with the chanting of the Maha Satipatthana Sutta (discourse of the Mindfulness) at 8:30 p.m. English chanting books will be provided. This precious teaching, chanted in Pali with care and confidence, purifies the mind and generates great positive karma.
We strongly encourage you to participate in this secession. Please do not miss this blessed moment.
